Although ZOTE laundry soap was made to wash clothes by hand, a lot of people add it directly to the washing machine by preparing “liquid” soap with the recipe you will find next, or by grating it. Another common use in washing machines is to add a piece of ZOTE to reduce the foam produced by the normal detergent.
